Matthew Blazon Yee
After training in Chinese Qi Gung and Kung Fu for a number of years with his teacher Frank Yee, Matthew began to learn the basis of rehabilitative exercise through the use of Qi Gung and some foundations of Dit Da therapy which at the time included Tui Na, some external Herbal plasters and ointments as well as the basic usage of Moxibustion.
When the time came to engage more deeply into the medicine in terms of acupuncture and internal Herbal therapy it was necessary to seek formal training from a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) school.
After graduating with a degree in TCM from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in NYC, Matthew decided that while the experience was fantastic and the base of knowledge taught in TCM was formidable he felt that there was a necessity to refine the traditional skills a bit more.
From his training Matthew learned that Japanese Meridian Therapy was a very old and well developed style of acupuncture. He therefore choose to engage in an additional year of clinical training and practice in Tokyo Japan.
From that experience Matthew has combined the practices of Meridian Therapy, Dit Da, Qi Gong and Tui Na with the knowledge and clinical application of TCM into a more specifically developed method of treatment.
