Stages of treatment
Tui Na massage is usually applied in the initial stages of the treatment to promote circulation of blood, evaluate the range of motion and pinpoint

Other diagnostic methods are then applied to evaluate the nature of the injury such as palpation of the pulse and abdomen, observation of the tongue and body
The next stage includes Acupuncture, Moxibustion and possibly Cupping for both the root constitution that may have led to the injury and specific treatment of
the injured area to circulate blood and to stimulate the surrounding tissues to help promote healing
After the above stage is finished, if necessary Qi Gung rehabilitative exercises are prescribed to increase range of motion, rebuild weak or damaged muscles or to realign the body symmetry.
Local Herbal plasters, or Ointments may be applied to affected areas to enhance the circulation and promote healing to the specific area and internal herbs may be given to adjust the overall health of the individuals’ constitution.
